How to Eliminate Headaches and Sinus Pressure
Have you ever pushed yourself hard and ended up getting sick, a sinus infection, cold or headaches?
We all have seasons when we have to run hard but when you don’t feel well it is awful. For 2 decades of my life I struggled with my health particularly with allergies, sinus infections, and headaches.
My Early Sinus Challenges
I was the toddler with the ear infections and tonsils out by the time I was 4 years old. As a kid I remember being on the nowDISCONTINUED Seldane allergy medicine and having Sinus infections and being on Amoxicillin every other month. It wasn’t fun. It was so often we would just keep leftover antibiotics in the medicine cabinet and take it when I had sinus challenges. Little did we know that we were making the problem worse not using antibiotics correctly.
Sinus Over The Counter Meds and Their Effects
Later in college I would have sinus pressure and headaches almost daily. I would take Sudafed daily for the problem at first then Irealized it helped give me energy so I just took it daily. UNTIL that ONE DAY….. when I took it and my heart started pounding out of my chest. I thought I was going to die. And after a little investigation I learned that this Over the Counter Medicine did have some fatal side effects. YIKES. This was the beginning of my journey to natural medicine.
Simple Tips For Sinus Health
Using these simple tips I give you in this video has helped me eliminate allergies, sinus infections, and sinus pressure. Now I occasionally get some little allergy attack or pressure headache but it usually is because I haven’t been following these tips. My own kids 4 and 7 years old have never had to have antibiotics or allergy medicines. I know these tips work. USE THEM. They will help you.
Stay Healthy; Boost Your Immune System
Lastly I will encourage you to stay healthy avoid sickness we must, must, must boost our immune system. That means we are feeding our bodies well and using nutritional products that help us stay well.
Two of my favorite Nutritionals are:
NingXia Red
I recommend taking 2 – 4 oz a day of NingXia Red for adults and 1/2 – 2oz for kids, it helps our family stay well!
Thieves Vitality oil
Thieves Essential oil in a capsule or in water also helps us stay well. It’s a hot oil with cinnamon in it, so putting it in honey helps.
Let me know if these tips help your family too!

Cleansing the Liver and Gallbladder
This past weekend I completed my 1st round of Liver Gallballder cleansing and passed more than 200 gallstones.
This is not my stones… but it’s the closest picture of my results I could find. (picture from Natural Cure Alternatives) I didn’t feel like dealing with poop this time. Although my kids did get a good visual science lesson Monday… “Gallstones are Poop Stones from eating bad food” my son says.
Now this is about the 7th time I have done this cleanse over the past 3 years. Each time is unique and different and I will share why in a second. Here is a picture of the biggest stone I got out after my 2nd cleanse… Crazy right that this was inside me. That is a quarter next to it. This stone was much harder than the normal cholesterol pea size puddy like stones. Most of the stones are puddy like and made of cholestrol. But this guy had to been in my body a while.
Now the first thing you are probably thinking is isn’t that dangerous. Well remember I am not having a gallbladder issue nor have any gallbladder dysfunction or disease so this is simply support my organs and systems. And I suggest if you are thinking about doing something like this that you do more than pull a recipe off of a website , but do your research and the first place you can start is with this book:
The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse: An All-Natural, At-Home Flush to Purify and Rejuvenate Your Body by Andreas Moritz
If you read this book thoroughly you will be able to do the cleanse, safely, effectively, and with the least side effects. Yes there can be some side effects if you don’t follow directions. Like feeling like poop during or on cleanse day.
FACTS TO GET BEFORE GETTING STARTED:
YOU MUST CLEAN THE COLON FIRST: The Colon is the Hub of Health if it is not moving properly and cleaned out enough then the toxins and gallstones can’t be eliminated properly. All of us should be constantly working on taking care of our colon but the book tells you how to prepare for the cleanse. Think “smooth move:” This is also a big mistake others make when just doing a Liver Cleanse with apple juice and olive oil off the internet.
The Liver is producing stones. Don’t think just because you don’t have a gall bladder that you are off the hook. If you haven’t changed your eating and eat junk food even some of the time, animal meat regularly, and or caffeine my guess is you got these guys too. See the Gall bladder stores biles and stones but many small stones are in the Liver.
Picture from Just Life Shop
The process must be REPEATED : We would all like to think that there is a miracle LIVER COLON or whatever CLEANSE… But the facts are that most cleansing should be a regular practice and like layers of a onion each time you do a cleanse you will get deeper. The Liver cleanse as described in Moritz book should be done consistently until you no longer get any stones out. And then regular maintenance cleanses. I sadly have not been consistent enough to get to the end of my gallstones. Consistent meaning done every 4-6 weeks.
Tips To Successfully Do The Liver Cleanse
Here are a few tips have have helped myself, my husband and close friends do this successfully:
#1 Prep your food.
Meal plan and prepare your food for the week of clean eating and afterwards. I admit I have never followed the food guidelines to the letter. Meaning I eat some meat and probably a little bit of sugar during the week of clean eating. But I do make sure to get this MIRACLE SOUP in, check out the RECIPE HERE. Having soups and fresh foods available makes a difference in how good you will feel leading up and afterwards.
#2 DRINK YOU WATER
Drinking good clean water throughout your clean week and afterwards is key. I really like drinking Hydrogized water from my Young Living Hydrogizer. This cleanse was the best physically meaning I wasn’t tired or feeling fatigued the day of the cleanse and I really think it is because I was so hydrated with the alkaline water from Hydrogizer. I did at least 5 glasses the afternoon before my cleanse.
#3 Use big straws
Using big straws has helped me a ton get the salt water down. And you do need to use salt water with this cleanse. I put it toward the back of my throat and it bypasses some of my taste buds. It’s still not super pleasant but doable. I will also put a drip of Lemon oil or Peppermint on my tongue afterwards to mask the taste.
#4 Plan for Rest
Pick when you can take it easy the following day. Meaning prepare the family meals ahead of time, get someone to watch the kids or at least plan for a day of movies and down time. You will need to be near a bathroom for much of the day and some of the afternoon the day after. Get your Diffuser with your favorite relaxing Essential oils set up, Water if you need some. Pillows and blankets. I will do my night of the cleanse on the couch, then I don’t bother anyone if I have to get up.
So here is what doing this Cleanse will look like for a week…
6 Days of Clean Eating
Read the book for more on what clean eating is exactly, drink Apple Juice or Apple Cider Vinegar daily as directed in the book. I suggest using the Apple Cider Vinegar in warm water it works great, won’t put a bunch of sugar in your system and is less expensive. All we use is Apple Cider Vinegar now.
Cleanse colon as directed or with other colon cleanse teas beginning of 6 days and I will do again on Day 5 or 6. Be sure you are adding back in electrolytes and minerals like MINERAL ESSENCE and NingXia Red as to not be depleted before the cleanse.
DAY OF CLEANSE: Eat light. I eat oatmeal in the morning. and Basmati Rice or Miracle Soup or both around 1230 or 1pm. Stop eating at 1:30pm
Before 1:30pm I will make sure I get all my Apple Cider Vinegar in for that day. I also will make sure I get my NingXia and Mineral Essence in.
6pm Salt Water Flush ( I may or may not start pooping after this).
8pm Salt Water Flush (Usually after this one I start pooping, a few times I have had to do an enema but because I didn’t do the Cleansing like I was suppose to)
9:45 pm Prep my Grapefruit juice and Olive oil Drink. Set my alarm for 6am
10pm Drink it and LAY DOWN immediately with head elevated in a reclined position where my head is higher than my stomach. Lay there until I fall asleep and don’t get up until alarm, until I have to go the bathroom, or drink some water.
6am Drink Salt Water – Sometimes I will get stones out after this.
8 am Drink last Salt Water: I do get stones out after this one. I will release stones and liquid waterish stools until noon or even into the afternoon. I have even passed stones the following day. But the urge to poop every 15-30 minutes goes away around 11 ‘ish or noon for me.
To learn more about cleansing watch this Live Video I did:
You can read about the rest of the cleanse in The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse: An All-Natural, At-Home Flush to Purify and Rejuvenate Your Body by Andreas Moritz
If you are serious about getting your energy back, libido, clear skin, endurance, happy joints, and improved health. Then your next step is to get the book, read the book, and set your date for your first cleanse.
I love you, believe in you, and really it isn’t as bad as people make it sound. And really if you refuse or can not do it there are alternatives to this $10 cleanse. You can get quality products for about $600-1000 that will support the liver and gallbladder and help fight against negative effects of harmful toxins.

Back to School Tips: Soda, Kids’ Health and Behavioral Problems
“If you want kids to be less violent, stop giving them this,” said the headline on Twitter. To find out more, I clicked on the link and found an article titled “Soda drinking tied to violent behavior in kids” by the Daily News.
The news said that children consuming four or more servings of soda per day are likely to display bad behavior. Studies show that these kids may have withdrawal and attention problems, destroy other people’s belongings and get into fights and physical attacks.
Here are six more problems related to drinking soda and sugar drinks:
Sugar overload
A 20 oz. Mountain Dew contains 77g. of sugar and a 7 Eleven 64 oz. Double Gulp Coke contains 186g of sugar. Dr. Mercola has an article on What Happens to Your Body Within an Hour of Drinking a Coke.
He said within the first 10 minutes, you get 10 teaspoons of sugar in your system, within 20 minutes your blood sugar spikes and your liver responds and turns the sugar overload into fat. By 40 minutes, your blood pressure rises and your liver dumps more sugar into your bloodstream. After an hour you’ll start to have a sugar crash. (Read more here.)

The nine benefits of drinking water
Additives and artificial color
A question, “Do you use additives in Coca-Cola?” was posted on Coca Cola Britain’s site. The answer was “We do use additives in some of our drinks, including Coca Cola.”
What are the additives found in your soda drink and why are they harmful? The Consumer Report said caramel color is added to many soft drinks to turn them brown and some of these contain carcinogenic chemical called 4-methylimidazole (4-MeI). They tested the 12-ounce samples of Pepsi One and Malta Goya to have 29 micrograms per can or bottle of 4-MeI. They tested on 81 cans and bottles of popular soda brands from five manufacturers.
Read more about 4-MeI on FDA’s website.
Bad for the teeth
PubMed’s report on “Dental erosion and severe tooth decay related to soft drinks: a case report and literature review” said that the acids and sugars in soft drinks have both acidogenic and cariogenic potential. In layman’s term, it will result in potential tooth decay and enamel erosion.
The publication said sugar-free soft drinks have the same erosive potential as sugar-containing soft drinks. So those with artificial sweeteners will pose the same problems.
Dehydration
We may have come to the assumption that any form of liquid will help hydrate our body. Soda and sugar water may give us an immediate quench of thirst but the reality is the sugar and caffeine inside will speed up dehydration.
Dehydration will then lead to tiredness and mood swings.
Increase obesity and diabetes
“If a child drinks just one soda a day, it will lead to 15.6 pounds of weight a year,” said UCSF. These are empty calories loaded with sugar, additives and caffeine. If a child drinks one soda and two glasses of Kool-Aid each day, he or she would have consumed 390 calories a day.
One pound of fat is 3,500 calories. If the child drinks that amount every day, he or she would potentially increase 40 pounds of weight from drinking soda and sugar drink.
Are sugary drinks the major contributor to obesity in America?
To Harvard School of Public Health the answer is YES. The study is poignant and here are some highlights of why sugary drinks including soda are dangerous to our children’s health:
1. The standard size soft drinks before 1950s was 6.5 ounces.
2. By the 1960s 12-ounce cans were introduced.
3. Early 1990s, 20-ounce plastic bottles were normal.
4. 2011 the 1.25-liter (42-ounce) bottle was introduced.
5. In the 1970s, sugary drinks made up about 4% of US daily calorie intake
6. 2001 risen to 9% and by 1999 to 2004 the average was 224 calories (11% of daily calorie intake) per day from sugary drinks.
Kids ages 6 to 11 consume 130 to 209 calories per day by 2008. (Source: Harvard School of Public Health)
It is not surprising when I saw the chart on CDC showing:
Between 1976-1980 and 2007-2008 obesity among children ages 6 to 11 rose from 6.5% to 19.6%.
Bad behavior
The Journal of Pediatrics reported on August 16, 2013 “Soft drinks and behavioral problems in young children.” In the study, the journal finds that aggression, attention problems, and withdrawal behavior are all associated with soft drink consumption in young children.
This study assessed about 3,000 5-year-old children from 20 large U.S. cities, and 43% of children consumed at least one serving of soft drinks per day, 4% consumed four or more.
Poor diet, obesity, bad behavior, dental problems, type 2 diabetes and poor health have been linked to sugar drinks and soda.
Are your kids drinking soda or sugar drinks?
What are the alternatives to soda and sugar drinks for your kids as they are heading back to school?
Surprisingly more soda and sugar drinks are being consumed at home than outside. I found a Math Project by an elementary school in Waikele Hawaii. The Math Project showed on average the 464 families consumed four cans of soda per family per day. A total of 1,856 per day, 12,992 per week, 55,680 per month and 668,160 per year.
The average cost per can of soda was 31 cents. The 464 families spent $575.36 per day, $4,027.52 per week, $17,260.80 per month and $207,129.60 per year. That’s almost a quarter of a million dollars on soda for an average size elementary school with 464 families.
That’s just one case study. How about your kids’ school?
What would happen if they drank pure water, added a drop or two of pure 100% therapeutic grade
· Lemon
· Orange
· Tangerine
· Slique
· Peppermint essential oils to the pure water or
NingXia Red to the water?

Secrets to Happy Attitudes in your kids
What do you do when your child ‘drives you crazy’ with a bad attitude and is misbehaving? Even if it happens once in a while, how do you keep calm? Could proper food, quality sleep and nutritional supplements help change the way they behave?
Today my son had a kind of bad day with misbehaving, lots of whining and not using his words well. Instead of feeling frustrated and giving up, I sought out answers from my Facebook friends.
My question was: Could today have been bad because
a) He went three days without taking a nap
b) He ate more processed food and sugar this weekend than he has in three months including French fries, chicken nuggets, and Wendy’s Frosty his Nana gave him last night
c) He didn’t take his vitamins and minerals in the last three days
d) All of the above
Most of the moms believed his misbehavior could be due to all of the factors listed above.
Some gave me a little more detail on how they dealt with these problems with their kids.
Vicki W.:
When Harley gets into too much sugar, dyes and dairy it becomes easy for him to see what the difference is, when he’s had candy I give us a time out until he’s had some time to wear it off. Its become clear to him what the consequences of his consumption are, what makes him feel good, what makes him feel bad and what gets him into trouble.
Corinne D. believes it is all of the above and shared:
My son says he must have had “too much sugar” when his tummy hurts.
Amy L. said:
Oh yes! My MIL used to give my boys so much junk one would throw. Up almost every time they came home from a stay there!
Mary A. agreed that D is the answer and added:
My whole family gets crazy when we don’t eat right, get enough sleep or don’t take vitamins for a certain amount of time. Makes me more aware of how important it is to stay on track.
Penny Clair who is an oiler and a mom of two wonderful children shared this:
NingXia Red a mainstay, this supplement has made all the difference in my kids, especially when they have consumed too much sugar, the immediate calming effects that take place in them after taking NR is amazing.
My daughter is the worst with sugar I can tell when she has gotten her hands on it, she becomes a maniac, and blue dye creates melt downs, we avoid blue dyes all together…but it is the NR that brings balance back. We use Pure Protein in breakfast smoothies.
Peace and Calming is used at night for a peaceful night’s sleep. We have started juicing regularly here, using kale, lemon and limes a lot, adding Stevia, a drop of lemon vitality oil, sometimes lavender vitality oil. This time of year we make apple cinnamon smoothies made with plain yogurt or kefir for a nice snack.
An article found on FoodMatters.TV, Which Food Additives Make Children Behave Badly? is a must-read for families with children. They wrote:
Research on a group of three-year-olds who lack concentration, lose their temper, interrupt others and struggle to get to sleep when they drank fruit juice dosed with colorings and preservatives.
We know sugar, processed food and additives might pose problems to kids’ behaviors. Proper nutrition is essential to nourish their mind, body and soul. Vitamins, essential fatty acids, minerals and amino acids are required for growing kids, particularly in the first few years. Not only will it help with growth and other crucial developments of the body, it will give them optimum health.
The lack of proper nutrition will lead to negative effects and negative behaviors. It will affect the way they nap or sleep at night.
Let’s take a look at some of the essential vitamins needed:
NingXia Red-
NingXia Red has powerful antioxidants, is rich in minerals, polysaccharides, amino acids and vitamins. There are no additives, coloring or sugar added to this superfruit drink. Just imagine you don’t have to buy tons of vegetables and fruits to get the amount of minerals and vitamins that are present in NingXia Red.
Moms and dads, it is difficult to find nutrient dense food in the market today. Whether at school or at a gathering, kids can be enticed with the many “happy meals”, candies and treats that come their way. As parents it is not always easy to be the “police” of what our kids consume at all times.
My kiddo’s have been having 1/2 an oz of Ningxia Red almost daily for many years. They crave it now and I as a mom can tell when they haven’t had their NingXia Red and healthy diet. They can’t focus as much, their sleep is off, and my son gets phelgmy. I do my best to keep NingXia Red a Staple in my family.
If you would like to try some of the delicious Ningxia Red Super Juice head over to our website at www.orderoils.com
We know that our children’s food, sleep, minerals and vitamins are crucial to kids’ development and behaviors. Food, sleep, nutrition and behaviors are inter-related. I encourage you to see for yourself. You take NingXia Red Daily along with your kiddos for 30 days then stop. I promise you will notice the “Difference” .
